Continental Little League is proud to present our first ever Annual Championship Hitathon Fundraiser scheduled to take place Sunday, May 22, 2016.
All Continental Little League players are invited to represent their team and division by qualifying to take part of our First Annual Championship Hitathon.
Each and Every player that qualifies to participate in the Championship Hitathon will win the following:
The Hitathon contest will be separated by divisions. Players that win their respective division will receive the following:
Each division winner receives a total award package estimated at over $250.00.
To participate in the CLL Championship Hitathon each player must first qualify by achieving the following:
Successfully raise a minimum of $250.00 in donations with the use of social media and direct fundraising strategies available through our Hitathon partner "99 Pledges".
The deadline for the fundraising campaign is set for May 15th, 2016.
Above and beyond the players opportunity to prove themselves on an individual level, they also participate on a team level contest against other teams within their divisions.
The team to have the highest level of fundraising in each division will earn bragging rights, be spotlighted on the CLL website for their achievement and win a PIZZA PARTY for their whole team and coaches at a choice of locations.
The fundraiser itself is meant to deliver much needed support for significant upgrades to the league facilities and enhance your child's Little League experience for years to come.
Please note that all contributions are tax deductible and a great way to support the young ball player in your family. Allow your closest family and friends to show their support for your child and help them qualify to participate in the CLL Hitathon.
If you have any questions, please contact Dean Giannoutsos at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks to all who came out to Continental Little League's Opening Day! Luckily, the rained stayed away long enough to complete the ceremonies and official league photographs. We adapted to the blacktop, welcoming the Mayor of Concord, introducing all players, having the National Anthem sung by one of our players, and honoring our past President, Tony Calero. Play Ball! (once the rain stops ;)
There is a new leader for Continental Little League, as Steve Harris was elected as the new league president last month. Steve had served on the CLL Board of Directors for the previous two years, including his role as Vice President last year. Steve, who has also coached in the league for the previous five years, is a husband and father of two boys (Michael and David), both currently playing baseball in Continental. We are very excited to have Steve be the league’s front-runner, as his strong organizational and leadership skills will allow the league to continue to grow and be a vital element of our local community.
We also want to thank former league president Tony Calero for being an important part of Continental Little League for well over a decade. He has dedicated a great deal of his personal time to ensuring our league is run successfully year-after-year. The league thanks Tony for all his guidance and leadership he provided to the league.
