The local rules for Continental Little League are created in accordance with the official rules of Little League international. Local rules do not supersede any rule that has been out lined by the official rules of Little League international, however due represent the decisions made by Continental’s rules committee as presented and approved by Continental’s Board of directors.
The local or house rules as outlined are to be enforced only when an optional rule is given in the Little League official rules or in a case where no governing rule can be applied. If an official rule does exist without option the rule as outlined by Little League International is to be enforced.
In cases where an optional rule is not covered by either Little League international, or Continental Little League local rules, the questionable ruling should be brought to the attention of Continental Little League’s Chief umpire, Board of directors, and or rules committee. However these actions should not delay or detour a game in which a mutual agreement can be achieved allowing the continuation of play.
